The Five G's
Five words carry everything we teach. Kids learn them, chant them, and grow up on them — one devotional at a time. And it all starts where it always starts: There's Glory in the Hoop.
We glorify God with our basketball league. We love God, we love each other, and we glorify God in all we do.
“There's Glory in the Hoop.”
The story of Jesus — His healing, parables, miracles, and resurrection. The Good News of who Jesus is and what He did for us.
We study Him so we can learn how to become more like Jesus.
We are sinners and we will come up short. God's grace tells us this is OK and is a display of His goodness.
We fall, and we get back up because of God's grace. God gave us the great gift of grace.
An attitude of gratitude for God's gift to us — His grace, His only Son.
To be grateful we must understand what we have been given, and as believers it is our job to tell people about Jesus.
Perseverance, steadfastness, endurance. Competition teaches life lessons — we compete to win without putting excessive emphasis on the scoreboard. Winning for God and in life.
